B i o g r a p h y

The Fortet Project is a new, exciting trombone ensemble that performs everything from classical, to jazz, to pop. Comprised of students from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), the group is devoted to sharing their performances with audiences throughout central Texas.

TFP has performed on live television, the National Anthem at the San Antonio Spurs game, The Big XII Trombone Conference at Texas Tech University, Texas State University's Trombone Symposium, Texas Band Master's Convention, Texas Music Educators Association's Convention (TMEA), and in the Austin premiere of Henry Brant's Orbits for 80 trombones performed at the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, TX to much acclaim.

The Fortet Project performs in a wide variety of contexts. They are available for Sunday church services, High School and Middle School visits, and outreach in hospitals and retirement communities.
